Hyatt Centric Melbourne is a contemporary boutique addition to Melbourne’s hotel sector in a prominent location at the corner of Downie Street and Flinders Lane. It will offer 278 modern guest rooms across 26 levels.
Challenge:
To provide a cost-effective smart-room solution in a short space of time to achieve a tight deadline, whilst integrating with another technology system already specified for the hotel, ASSA ABLOY.

From a capital expenditure perspective, KASTA represented a major advantage over the originally specified provider, not just for its cost-effective and easy installation, but in stark contrast with traditional hotel solutions, for its ability to easily meet the challenge of seamlessly integrating their electrical and technical systems, whilst boasting a user-friendly perspective for all guests and achieving all the scopes required by hotel operations.
The KASTA solution included smart lighting control, sensors, intuitive scenes and integration with ASSA ABLOY, allowing for a dynamic smart experience for hotel guests.

By changing to KASTA smart technology products, The Hyatt Centric gained a great value management package solution to achieve all the same expectations of the Hyatt brand standards. Scheduled for completion late 2021.
