All KASTA devices have surge and overload protection. Once power is returned devices return to previous setting.
You can restore your device’s data by logging into the same KASTA account on another phone, if the KASTA network has been uploaded to the cloud.
However, if the KASTA network has not been uploaded to the cloud, your ability to reprogramme is lost, unless you have previously done a QR code transfer to another App device – this is the only method of restoration in these circumstances. Programming cannot be retrieved from KASTA devices but will continue operating as per last programmed settings.

KASTA works with most mobile devices. The KASTA app supports iOS 9+ and Android 4.0+.
Adding is adding a device into the mesh network. Grouping is combining multiple devices and having them perform the same function (all lights 40%).
Programming lives in the devices. After initial setup, the KASTA app is no longer required (unless modifications to settings are required).
Yes, via remote sharing function through the app.
Tags/labels such as Group/Scene/Schedule names etc. live within the App only.
A user can generate a QR code through the KASTA app. This QR code can be scanned to restore the network.
Yes. A PIN restricts access to a mesh network not a method to restrict access to individual rooms etc.
No. Only the Administrator profile can modify the network and settings of connected devices. The KASTA app has Administrator and Visitor profiles. An Administrator profile allows modification of the network whereas a Visitor can only control what has been programmed.

Upon creating a mesh network, you are prompted to create a PIN to secure the network.

User needs to consent to the KASTA terms when initially signing up for a KASTA account. They do not need to consent again after further app updates.

A user’s email address is required to receive an activation code and also for account password recovery.
In order to delete an account, you need to delete the KASTA App and then contact Technical Support by calling (02) 9168 5900 and selecting Option 2 for Technical Support.

Unfortunately, this auto-function is not available as KASTA does not collect any system data or have any internet data communication. You will need to control devices via KASTA APP after Daylight Saving is changed to sync the clock of devices.
