Frequently Asked Questions

Use the below search function to find answers to some of KASTA’s most commonly asked questions.

  • General
  • How does KASTA hardware behave through issues with 240VAC supply such as power cycles or surges?

All KASTA devices have surge and overload protection. Once power is returned devices return to previous setting.

  • What happens if I lose my phone?

You can restore your device’s data by logging into the same KASTA account on another phone, if the KASTA network has been uploaded to the cloud.

However, if the KASTA network has not been uploaded to the cloud, your ability to reprogramme is lost, unless you have previously done a QR code transfer to another App device – this is the only method of restoration in these circumstances. Programming cannot be retrieved from KASTA devices but will continue operating as per last programmed settings.

  • Which version of Bluetooth do we support?

    From 4.0 to 5.2

  • Can I control an auxiliary device with KASTA?

Yes, you can use a Smart Switch Module (KASTA-S2400IBH) or a Dry Contact Module (KASTA-S10IBH).
